What CarLoan24 is

CarLoan24 (carloan24.co.uk) is an informational comparison website about UK car finance. We publish deal comparisons, lender reviews, educational guides, and financial calculators. We are not a lender, broker, or credit intermediary. No finance applications are processed through this website. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal financial data.

Data we collect

Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use this site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first by design:

  • No cookies are set.
  • No personal data is collected.
  • No cross-site tracking occurs.
  • No data is sold to third parties.
  • Analytics are aggregated — we see page view counts, not individual visitors.

This means we know how many people visited the BMW finance page last week. We don't know who they were, where they came from specifically, or what they did afterwards.

Search: Pagefind

Our site search is powered by Pagefind, which runs entirely in your browser. Search queries are not sent to any server. No search data is collected or stored by us.

Calculator: client-side only

Our finance calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter (loan amount, interest rate, term length) are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. The calculations happen on your device and stay there.

Data we do not collect

To be explicit:

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
  • We do not collect financial information such as income, credit score, or employment details.
  • We do not set advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
  • We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising-linked analytics platform.
  • We do not run retargeting campaigns.
  • We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

External links

This site contains links to external websites — lender websites, the FCA Register, Bank of England data, Trustpilot, and others. When you click an external link, you leave CarLoan24 and are subject to that website's privacy policy. We have no control over how those sites handle your data.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard HTTP request data (IP address, user agent, request URL) as part of serving the website. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not have access to individual IP addresses or request logs.

Your rights under GDPR

Because we don't collect personal data, most GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) don't apply in practice — there's nothing to access, correct, or delete. However, if you believe we hold any personal data about you, or if you have any privacy-related concerns, you have the right to contact us.
